Homemade Hibiscus Shampoo to Promote Hair Growth and Thickness!!!

0

In this article, I wanted to share a wonderful hibiscus shampoo recipe that not only cleanses the scalp well but promotes hair growth as well. I love homemade shampoos made with natural ingredients as they don’t strip this scalp of its natural oils, and we can also avoid product build-up, which is usually the case with commercial hair care products. Hibiscus has many hair care benefits. It strengthens the roots and keeps the hair shiny and healthy, it helps promote hair regrowth and conditions even the driest and damaged hair, and it also helps treat scalp problems like itchiness and dandruff very well. We used to grind the petals and the leaves at home and use it as a hair wash paste, but I wanted it in shampoo form, and this recipe turned out wonderfully. It is beautiful red, and it cleans the scalp gently without stripping the hair of its natural oils. The previous night, I pound five to six soap nuts in a mortar and pestle.

Remove the inside seeds now. In a bowl, combine two large or three little Shika kai pods. Include the soap nuts as well. Finally, 1 1/2 teaspoons of fenugreek seeds should be added. Add a cup of water now. Allow the mixture to soak overnight. Collect five fresh hibiscus blooms the following day, remove the petals, and store them separately. By now, the soap nuts, Shika kai, and fenugreek seeds mixture would have soaked well and will be soft to the touch. Add in the hibiscus petals to it. Now boil this mixture in low to medium flame for about seven to eight minutes till the mixture slightly thickens. If you keep the flame on high, the mixture will spill over very fast, so make sure to boil in a low flame. After seven to eight minutes, the hibiscus petals would have lost all their color, and the shampoo would have thickened slightly and would have turned a beautiful red color.

At this stage, switch off and strain. This shampoo is lovely not only for adults but for children too. I’ve used fresh hibiscus flowers here, but you can use two hibiscus tea bags instead if you don’t have access to fresh flowers. This amount will be good for two to three hair washes, depending on the length and thickness of your hair. This shampoo will remain well outside for about two days, but if you want a longer shelf life, make sure to store it in the fridge. To use, take the shampoo and apply it all over the scalp and hair, massage for a few minutes gently, and then wash and condition as usual. I hope you found this helpful article. Basic Nail Art Tools for beginners! The Nail Art Essentials

0

Hello Friends, Welcome to my blog. In this article, I will talk about the basic nail art essentials required for doing your nail art. Of course, there is no hard and fast requirement of them. You can create many designs with absolutely no tools or with some household things. But if you are thinking of learning nail art or considering doing your Nail art designs regularly, you can invest in some of the basic nail art tools so that your work will be more sorted and smoother. So let’s get started.

1.Dotting Tool

The first tool on my list is Dotting Tool. This is such an amazing Tool. These are dotting tools you get in a set. They are two-sided tools, so you get ten different dot sizes. They are very much user-friendly. It is effortless to use them. You can create various designs and patterns using dotting tools. You need to dip it into the color and place it over your nail to create the dot. So much easy! So by joining some dots, you can create so many designs. This was the first tool in which I invested when I started my nail art. They are not so expensive but are so much useful in your nail art journey.

2. Nail Art Brushes

The second nail art essential thing is the set of nail art brushes. These are different types of nail art brushes you get in the set. Some of them can be used to create thinner lines, i. e., striping brushes. There are a few with different sizes. They have generally retailed a set of brushes. Of course, you can use some of the other art brushes for nail art, but you might need to work on them to make them suitable for nail art. Also, they are sold almost at the same cost, so instead of that, it is always advisable to invest in nail art brushes specially designed for nail artwork. They are not so expensive too.

3.Striping tape

Striping tape is the thinner tape used to create nail art designs. This is the third wonderful nail art tools I can say. You can stick them on the nail to create the designs, or you can place them on the nail and then peel that off after applying polish. You can also use them as a guideline while painting your nail. The striping tapes are also not so expensive. You can get them online at a lesser price. Striping tapes are specially made for nail art, so you can, of course, invest in them. You can create so many fancy nail art patterns using striping tapes. I love them.

4. Nail Polish remover

Nail Polish remover is also one of the nail art tools to clean up your old nail polish or clean up the polish spread around the cuticles. Your work will be easier if you have a clean-up brush like this which can be dipped into the remover and used to clean your manicure.

5. Makeup sponge

The next nail art tools is the makeup sponge. Makeup sponges are very much useful to create ombre designs or for some other designs as well. You can use your regular makeup sponge for your nail artwork no other specific sponge is required for that. They can create wonders when you use them to create ombre. So get some makeup sponge with you.

6. Liquid latex

Liquid latex is the next nail art essentials. It aids so much while creating ombre, water marbles, and stamping as well. You need to apply it around the cuticle before using a sponge or stamp and peel that off once you are done.It makes cleaning very easy and less time-consuming. You can also use it while applying the nail polish if you are not confident about applying it without smudging it around the cuticle. So have the liquid latex with you.

7. Black & White Nail Polish

Now the next one is black & white nail polish. You might need black and white nail polish for some of the details in your design, where these colors are irreplaceable. So having good white and black polish is very important. While creating any animal-themed design, for example, to create an eye-like pattern, you will need black and white shades. They can be used as the base color while creating ombre designs. Black and white can also be used to create darker and lighter shades of colors you already have. The next thing is Rhinestones. There are various types of stones you get, and they are effortless to use. You can stick them with glue. They can give you beautiful, attractive nail art designs. so, it is not compulsory to have them, but it is the easiest and fastest way to beautify your nails.

8. Toothpicks and Scotch Tape

And now about the household things, they are generally found in your house easily, but they can play a vital role in your nail artwork. Two of such things are toothpicks and scotch tape. A toothpick can be used as a dotting tool to create some medium-size and tiny dots. They can also draw lines, sometimes generally when you are trying to create some messy lines. and Of course, you can create some smoother lines if you use them carefully.About the scotch tape, They are so much useful for water marble or sponge nail art. It can be used instead of liquid latex to cover the nail to protect it from smudging. They can also be used as guidelines while applying the polish. It make your life easy when it comes to nail art, like ombre, for a water marble, for a French manicure.

So here, we discussed the basic nail art tools. Of course, there are some other advanced tools, which might come as the next step. If you found this article useful, then give a big thumbs up! Thank you for reading this one. Check out my other articles as well!

SUSTAINABLE NAIL CARE HACKS THAT LAST! |

Nails tend to be an essential part of women women’s beauty routines. – and I have some tips on making your routine less toxic for you, your pockets, and the planet, all without having to leave your home. Today’s article is all about your nails. At the time that I’m writing this, we are in the middle of a global health crisis that has caused millions of women around the world to stay at home, which means no visits to the nail salon. But not to worry. My eco-friendly nail care tips can help you keep your nails looking beautiful from the comfort of your home. Last summer, I completely changed my nail care routine when I found out.

1. Most nail polish is not vegan

2. A lot of nail polish is packed with toxic chemicals, and

3. Traditional nail salons tend to produce a lot of waste,

something I’ve been actively trying to cut back on. So Here are three sustainable steps you can take to do your nails at home that are less toxic to your health. Save you money, are better for the environment, and don’t harm animals – and I even found a brand of nail polish that lasts two weeks. Let’s Let’s begin.

Step 1: Remove your nail polish with reusable bamboo cotton rounds. Single-use cotton products are wasteful. Between using cotton balls to wipe off nail polish and disposable cotton rounds to clean our faces, many pieces of cotton end up in the trash.

On top of that, it takes 20,000 liters of water to produce one 1 kilogram of cotton, which is essentially a t-shirt. Switching to a reusable option cuts down on water waste, means less cotton in landfills, and saves you from having to spend money on disposable beauty products that you have to replenish when you run out. I bought a 20-pack of organic reusable bamboo cotton rounds with a tiny laundry bag for washing. I use these to remove polish, makeup, wipe my cell phone done with alcohol. If you use toner, you can use it for that too. I’m sure there are a ton of ways these can come in handy in your life.

Step 2: Remove your polish with natural polish remover. So let’s talk about toxins. I mentioned earlier that there are harmful chemicals in polish – but the same also goes for polish remover. Just think about that smell that fills your nostrils the moment you twist the lid off that remover. It smells toxic. Plus, polish remover usually comes in a disposable plastic bottle. Luckily there are more natural and zero waste ways to remove polish. It can be tricky to find one that that’s low-cost and effective, but you have options. The one I use is natural and soy-based with lavender essential oil. It’s vegan, cruelty-free, and acetone-free. It comes in a glass bottle, and they use soy-based ink. So no plastic means less harm to our planet.

Step 3: Paint Your Nails with Non-Toxic, Vegan Nail Polish. Traditional nail polish is problematic for our bodies and the earth because of the harmful toxins and animal-derived ingredients. When I first found out nail polish isn’t vegan, I was perplexed! But it’s true. Some of these strange ingredients include crushed beetles, fish scales, and animal fat. Which then sent me down a rabbit hole of research. I also learned that the chemicals I was exposing myself to could harm our skin, immune systems, and hormonal development. WHY THO? My first reaction was to go to the beauty store and find some non-toxic vegan nail polish. Sephora only had one brand – Pacifica – that met that criteria. So I bought two colors, a base coat, and a topcoat. To be cleaner, nail polish companies started using 3-free, 5-free, 7-free, 9-free, and 13-free to indicate they are free of certain chemicals.

Pacifica is one of those brands. It is labeled as 7-free, meaning it is formulated without toxins: parabens, formaldehyde, resin, toluene, phthalates, xylene, and camphor. They have many pretty colors, and I love that it’s vegan, but it starts to chip after a few days. So I wondered if choosing sustainable nail care did mean I had to forego gel and powder nail finishes? Thankfully no! My aunt sent me a link to a brand that seemed too good to be true. It was vegan, non-toxic, and promised to last as long as gel polish. I was skeptical, so I ordered one of their mini kits to try it without committing to the larger quantities. Like gel polish, it requires a few steps to work. It comes with nail prep, a base coat, polish, and a topcoat.

The first step is to prep your nails by saturating reusable cotton round and scrubbing each nail to clean it. Then you apply two coats of the base coat followed by two coats of the nail color and the topcoat. The exact instructions are on the box. The color lasted me about a week and a half before I experienced my first chip. So yes, non-toxic, vegan polish exists, and even more exciting, there’s one on the market that can even compete with gel polish.

So that’s it! That’s my 3-step process for non-toxic, vegan, and cruelty-free nail care you can do without leaving your home. Whether you’re reading this during the quarantine or sometime in the future when it’s, it’s safe to venture out into the world. I hope you’ll still consider these options no matter what. Because as always, every little step you take living a more conscious, sustainable life helps us have healthier bodies, healthier homes, and a healthier planet. If you learned something in this article or liked it, give it a thumbs up for more sustainable lifestyle tips. Until next time, stay safe out there all you, and keep on living an adventurously green life.

TIPS TO USE A FLAT IRON TO GET THE BEST RESULTS WITH THE LEAST DAMAGE

0

I’ve been straightening my hair for over a decade. I hardly understood how to operate a flat iron when I first began. During that period, I made a lot of errors. Been there, done that, from obtaining unsatisfactory results to harming my hair and leaving it dry and brittle.
But, I’ve learned a lot through my errors. Now I finally know how to keep my hair straight and healthy.
The fact is that straightening your hair using a flat iron is a simple procedure. You need to remember a few basic guidelines. And avoid a few big blunders that we all commit for some reason.
So, here are my top ten tips for straightening your hair with a flat iron, getting that silky smooth finish but also keeping your hair healthy, bouncy, and full of life.

10 BEST TIPS FOR USING A FLAT IRON

Tip #1: Use the Proper Shampoo and Conditioner

For the most excellent results, begin your hair straightening routine in the shower rather than with the flat iron. Straightening shampoo and conditioner are also required.
These products aren’t strong enough on their own to give you that perfect glossy finish. But, when used in conjunction with a flat iron, they may enhance the outcome.

Tip #2: Don’t Overdo It With the Blow Drier

When your hair is subjected to the high temperatures provided by a straightening iron, you should look at the very least attempt to prevent heat before straightening. But most of us don’t have the luxury of waiting for our hair to dry.
The next best thing would be to let your hair air dry for as long as possible before blow drying it. Aim for at least 50 per cent dry hair, with 70 – 80 per cent being optimal.

Tip #3: Your hair should dehydrated.

Do you know how you can capture a piece of hair with your flat iron and rapidly evaporate a cloud of mist? I used to believe that the sound it produces was soothing. As if you were popping acne.
I had no idea the sound was the sound of my hair being fried. Hair is so delicate when wet that it should handle with as little heat as possible. Even wet hair may be much more damaged than dehydrated hair.

Tip #4: Use a Heat Protectant

Heat protectant sprays and lotions are used before exposing your hair to high heat to protect it as much as possible and reduce damage. They aren’t all-powerful, but they do assist.
These items come in a wide range of shapes and sizes, and it is up to you to choose the one that best suits your needs. Some heat protectants additionally indicate the maximum temperature at which they can protect hair. So you may try combining it with the heat you usually use.

Tip #5: Invest in a High-Quality Tool

This is a no-brainer: the higher the quality of the flat iron, the better the outcome. Not only do you want that perfect glossy look, but you also want to prevent your hair from harm.
But, pricing is not necessarily a good indicator of quality when it comes to hair styling products. The greatest thing you can do is thoroughly read the specs of the product you want to purchase to determine what it can and cannot do.
Also, read as many reviews as possible. The experiences of past customers may assist you in determining whether that specific flat iron is suitable for your hair.

Tip #6: Make Certain the Temperature Is Appropriate

Just because your flat iron has a temperature range of 450F doesn’t mean you have to use it at full power. The more heat you expose your hair to, the more damaged it becomes.
This is one of those things you’ll have to experiment with to learn. Begin with lower temps and raise them until you are satisfied with the outcome. According to specific basic rules, fine, thin hair does not need much heat, while thick, coarse hair may need greater temperatures to become and remain straight and glossy.

Tip #7: Divide Your Hair Into Thin Sections

You may lift the top layer of your hair with a clip. Then, divide the remaining hair into smaller pieces. The thickness of the portions may vary depending on your hair and the instrument you are using.
If the portions are too thin, it will take a long time to straighten your whole head of hair. But, they can’t be too thick since not all portions will be evenly open to the heat. There is no one-size-fits-all solution here. Fortunately, it just takes one or two attempts to figure out what works best.

Tip #8: Go Slowly Through Each Section

Instead of rapidly crossing each area many times, doing so slowly and gradually yields many superior outcomes. Take a piece of hair around the roots. Insert it between the iron plates and gently bring the straightener downward to the tips.
If you care about your hair in this manner, not only will your hairstyle last longer, but you will also minimize damage. Just don’t ever trap a piece of your hair between the hot plates and leave it there! If the containers are hot enough, you may lose the whole area at once.

Tip #9: Use a Serum or Oil

Even though you attempted to be as kind as possible, your strands have gone through a lot now that you have your hair looking precisely as you intended it to. To replace some of the lost moisture and keep your hair silky and smooth, use a hair serum or oil.
Serums cover the surface of your hair, providing shine and minimizing frizz. Some even provide some protection from pollutants, UV radiation, and dampness. Look for a lightweight product that won’t deflate your hair’s volume.
Also, once in a while, give your hair a thorough nourishing and repairing treatment, such as a hot oil hair treatment.

Tip #10 : Clean You’re Flat Iron

Because you should only straighten your hair after it has been washed, you shouldn’t anticipate a lot of dirt accumulation on the plates. But, conditioner residue and any heat protectant you use may reduce the tool’s effectiveness over time.
In most instances, a gentle towel and a dab of rubbing alcohol once your straightener has cooled down would be enough. But, just in case, double-check the instructions and the manufacturer’s recommendations.

My 5 top skin food tips for glowing skin!

0

You want gorgeous, glowing skin, but you believe it’s all about skincare. No, it’s also what you’re going to eat. So you don’t trust me. Beauty comes on the in and outside. I give you my top five tips for skin food, okay, my five tips for skin food.

Number 1. Is to stop buying packed and processed food.

Just somewhere, do it by yourself. Why? Processed food has many other ingredients inside, Which your body doesn’t need. It is so important what you eat because it goes through you. Let’s say you have eight meters of the gut system, and something is sticking into your body, so you don’t have to think about what you put on your skin with a total percentage of a body area. These body areas that pass things your food gets stuck into your body, affecting every single cell. In particular also your skin cell and if this gets affected you ageing much faster, so processed food means mixed cooked combined with different kind of preservatives conservatives is of Sugar. Why do this?.buy your food and eat it by cooking yourself Or raw or combining things you love and do it yourself. If you don’t have the time to go to the grocery store and look for prepared things cooked Stir-fried but not breaded. So, for example, I love to fish.

FOOD FOR GLOWING SKIN

So my Number 1. skin food is salmon But and I bought this in a local grocery store because it’s nothing added. It’s just fine; it didn’t have anything else—no breading. No extra sugar. I always glance at the back labels. Look at the Carbohydrate intake, and this one is always in Europe labelled with 100 grams. You Guys in the states, you have to be careful because the labels are sometimes per serving size could be tricky because sometimes it’s a spoon, Sometimes it’s a cup. It’s sometimes a cup. Sometimes it’s whatever, so it’s not standard, and it’s not legal in Europe.

We have it standardized. As a result, it’s much easier to combine or compare foods. So 100 grams and sugar carbs are less than 0.5, which is good. You should look at labels and never eat food higher than 5 grams of Sugar if labelled there. So look what it is. If you bought, Of course, go to farmer markets go to your local grocery stores. So you also can push the local business, and I love shiitake. I love mushrooms, but it’s so important, they are great for your immune system and which is excellent for the immune system, Of course, it is ideal for your skin as well, and of course, I love them because they’re perfect for digesting and So important also because they’re high in zinc. Still, it’s crucial. Were you getting them from so always look from the original Country because must? So maybe it’s somewhere around you, look for local things. There are anyway so much better okay so

Number 2. Snacks

I know how important it is to understand what you eat between your big meals, and I know how many of us are just talking on the phone and eating stressed eating or even eating because we are bored. Consider your options before putting something in your mouth. Remember? It’s working its way through your digestive tract. It’s affecting each cell and, so, also your skin cell. So what I love I love Almonds.

Why almonds? Because they are high in protein. They have a great source of different minerals, And I love to throw them in these plastic bags or any other bags to carry them. So every time I am a Little bit, Need something. I’m eating an Almond Ten of them because I know I adore them. I would eat the entire box if I would pack even worse I try to reduce this and Take like 10 or 15 each day. It’s excellent and Guys not Glazed not stuck with Sugar not funny caramelized with Sugar Even not roasted and wet best also not even salted so well Raw the best, so please Instead of selecting these snacks, which is we simply pure Sugar and bad for your skin Also don’t choose raisins right people to think oh I have that good. It’s as much a dried Raisin as it is a dried grape. Yes, but it’s dried out. So believe me when I say, Oh water and everything has been taken away. The rest is just Sugar, pure and simple. I mean, it’s sweet, which is why you like it. Okay, Almonds.

Number 3. Olive oil.

FOOD FOR GLOWING SKIN

Let’s say unsaturated oil. So what does it mean? Of course, flaxseed oil is better since it contains the most Unsaturated fats within. What does it mean? Unsaturated consider binderies and imagine the binderies as octopuses sucking up all the Oxygen. As a result, all the free radicals, so the free radicals are kind of small, let’s say molecules, that are harming your Cells, so you know this because you’re probably using vitamin C or antioxidants for your skincare regime during the day But Guess. You have a lot of Oxygen, antioxidants, and free radicals in your body.

You want to get rid of, and so, we love Omega-3 with binderies, the right which is taking away this Oxygen, Thus Neutralizing them. Yeah, but guess what else can’t often? Its biochemistry removes these binderies, Oxygen specifically, and the Sun, so if you ever buy Olive oil, never buy it in a looking-through bottle. Try to figure out what UVA is doing. Already eliminating all unsaturated fats, all beneficial fats are gone. So why are they being used? Buy an olive oil bottle that is covered even by a foil or something that is not looking through very important, and now some I have been on the Seaside of Ibiza. As I said, I got olive oil there’s were standing forever in the Sun You can’t take any other cheap oil, and you don’t have to pay a lot for good olive oil. So, when you buy olive oil, make sure it’s well covered and permanently close it tightly. So if you keep it open, Oxygen and your UVA are destroying the oil, so it’s useless, okay, so olive oil and the right package.

Number 4.Drinks

It’s you are also what you drink, not just what you eat. So many people I see in the morning because I’m commuting I’m taking the train actually, and I see them already in the morning with their kind of coke or kind of energy drinks and a cigarette okay, let’s keep the cigarette up. Let’s talk about energy drinks. There is no energy except that They are taking power of you because the most thing is Sugar. So you get your glucose level up, your insulin level up, and then You fall into a big hole, and you’re exhausted. Why is Sugar doing this? So, how does Sugar caramelize? It is a massive molecule. It’s a vast Caramelizing your cells, and we mentioned anything damaging your cells are terrible for your skin, so let you eat, and you don’t want this. So, if you drink anything to drink water, if it’s too dull for you and a little bit of fresh lemon to add a little bit of orange inside, add a little bit of Lemon juice inside, even create a cucumber. It’s so much better than everything else and looks at labels. Don’t say it’s good because it’s organic, pure, and natural; if there’s Sugar inside, it doesn’t matter where you think the Sugar comes from. It’s made from a cane. Is Cane a natural product? So there’s no sugar. So, even if you buy orange juice and think to yourself, “Oh, you read it.” It’s something positive for you. If it is not fresh, you are drinking the orange juice immediately after pressing it. Believe me when I say that all Oxygen and UVA destroy everything on the inside, and believe me when I say that. There’s so much Sugar inside; look at the labels, Look at the carbohydrates, compare them, and you think of me in orange juice. It’s more than 100 grams most of the time, more than 50% than pure Sugar. It would help if you had this Yeah, so stick with the water.

Number 5 Tomatoes

I love tomatoes because tomatoes or any Colorful vegetables are high in antioxidants Or something. What is Preserving yourselves? What does it mean anti.exactly.against oxygen free radicals, so it’s like a kind of like Like a protection shields; these are antioxidants For yourself, and it doesn’t matter. It’s on the outside from the inside. So, believe me when I say that eating is so important because you’re consuming everything to protect yourself, and there was an excellent study that demonstrated this.

Actually, in Berlin and at the university, some people support or prefer farmer eggs or free-range eggs. Compared to people who ate like this kind of cheap eggs straight from stress chicken, they demonstrated. The skin with a microscope could label the antioxidant level, and yes, These guys who aid free-range eggs had almost a tenfold higher Antioxidant level than these guys who ate these very cheap eggs. So nowadays, I’m probably buying the most expensive and free-range eggs or just going next to my farmer and buying them fresh there. So I love eggs, of course, in moderation because they have a high antioxidant intake. Still, they have to be new, and tomatoes also have a high antioxidant level, But tomatoes are so much better if you fry them. With the frying process, you get this Lycopene and, like a prominent Antioxidant, protect yourself okay. So what I’m trying to say is that you are what you eat. You may spend a lot of money on skincare if you’re not eating the proper foods, but if you’re not eating the right foods, you’ll still have imperfect skin. Okay, I don’t say that just by eating you get a great skin I say it’s one wheel, So it is like a Swiss watch a couple of wheels have to move before the big hand is moving and believe me, Skinfood or food is a big one, So I hope you like that. I’m hoping you’ve got a few ideas in mind. So, the next time, bring some almonds. If you like peanuts, take them and then open them, okay—bye, Guys.

That, to me, is the foundation of healthy skin, and we’ll go over it again today. We’re going to talk about our way of life. Hello there! Welcome back to the good life. So I took a week off between – I wasn’t feeling well, so I needed some time off – and I’m back to normal. This was going to be a lifestyle and skincare article, but when I started researching, there was so much to say that I couldn’t fit it all into one. Anyway, let’s talk about lifestyle and how it affects your skin, and if you’re new around here, I just wanted to point out that many of the tips I do provide are scientifically supported.

Number one reduce stress. I’ve noticed that stress has a negative impact on my skin. I get more breakouts, redness, and irritation when I’m stressed. So, how does stress contribute to breakouts? When you’re stressed, you produce a lot more of this hormone called cortisol, also known as the stress hormone produced in average amounts. Still, we have a lot more of it when stressed, and cortisol can cause inflammation and increase the amount of oil your oil glands produce, leading to breakouts. Aside from breakouts, stress can aggravate a variety of skin conditions, including eczema and rosacea. Psoriasis.

So, what are your options? You can’t eliminate stress – that would mean you’d have to stop living! Stress is an unavoidable part of life. It will always be present, but we can change how we react to stress and manage it daily. Meditation has been the most transformative for me. So, if meditation isn’t for you, and I understand that it isn’t for everyone, what else can you do to help manage your stress? I would advise you to take care of yourself. I believe you enjoy activities that make you feel like you’re taking care of yourself. They do make a significant difference. Going for a walk, reading a book, taking a hot bath, and snuggling with my cats are some of my favourite pastimes. All of these things help to relieve my stress.

Number two is exercise more frequently. Now, exercise isn’t something that everyone enjoys. I don’t like working out either, but you know what? There are many advantages, including skin advantages. So, remember how I mentioned cortisol and how it affects your skin in tip 1? So exercise can help you reduce your cortisol, and lowering your cortisol can help you reduce the chances of breakouts and any stress-related skin issues.

Excercise

Not only that, but when you exercise, you are also increasing your blood circulation and blood flow, which can help your skin cells receive more oxygen and nutrients. So, when it comes to healthy skin, exercise makes a big difference. We don’t all enjoy exercise, so how can you make it more of a habit? I would recommend starting small. Don’t feel obligated to exercise every day if it does not fit your lifestyle. Begin with small steps to establish a habit, and then gradually increase it.

Number three is to apply sun protection to your skin. This is a major one, and I must be honest about it. I didn’t take it seriously until I was researching this article. I’ve always assumed that because I don’t spend much time in the Sun because I’m not pale, I don’t need sunscreen unless it’s a really hot day and I’m going to be outside all day. That is not the type of sun damage that can occur on a cloudy day. Even if you have dark skin, sun damage can occur when you sit indoors next to a window. No one is immune to sun damage, and I regret not wearing sunscreen more frequently in the past. So, how exactly does the Sun harm your skin? Because the Sun can cause premature ageing and skin cancer, it is critical to protect yourself from the Sun daily. I could go on and on about sun protection for days, but until you see how bad it is, you’re probably not going to get it. So, if you’re young, You might overlook the skin damage. So far, I haven’t seen a lot of skin damage, but you know what? It is present. I had to get some minor sun damage on my skin, and I’m pretty sure it was caused by the Sun.

So I’m going to defend myself from now on. It is not too late. It is never too late to take preventive steps. So, how can you protect yourself from the sun? Do you use sunscreen every day? Wear sunscreen whenever you are exposed to the Sun, even if you are indoors next to a window or cloudy. Choosing sunscreen is not an easy task; there are several factors to consider. I wanted to point out something I discovered during my research that makeup. You know, ten moisturizers with some SPF probably aren’t enough sun protection because you need a certain amount of sunscreen to protect yourself from the Sun. Typically no one wears that many foundations, and that must provide tinted moisturizer. It’s just not enough. Wearing sunscreen is therefore advised. I would recommend avoiding and limiting exposure when the Sun is at its brightest. There is something called the UV index, and when the UV index is high, the Sun’s rays are more likely to cause skin damage. So it’s usually between 11:00 and 3:00 that the Sun causes the most skin damage, so I try to avoid the Sun even if I’m wearing sunscreen during those hours, so I go for my morning walks early. When the UV index is low, or you know you can go late when the Sun’s a little bit down. As a result, it is critical to protect yourself regularly to not end up with skin damage in your 40s, 15, 16, so it is critical to begin early.

Number four is to limit exposure to bacteria that may cause breakouts, which is what I’m doing. It’s a phone call. These things are pillowcases. If I don’t keep them clean, I get minor breakouts around the chin, so let’s start with the phone. What is it about the phone that can cause breakouts? When we’re talking on the phone, and you’re resting that phone right next to your cheek, it can cause a little bit of that pressure friction and heat. Acne and Meccanica can result from the combination of all of these factors. As a result, I avoid placing the phone right next to my cheek. I keep a safe distance between us. Minh, while we’re on the subject, the other thing that comes to mind for me is pillowcases. If my pillowcases aren’t clean, I’ll get minor breakouts and irritation if you’re curious about what dermatologists have to say about phones and pillowcases and how they can cause skin or irritation.

Healthy Skin

The following tip is to get enough sleep if you aren’t getting enough sleep, leading to premature ageing and, in some cases, breakouts. If I don’t get enough sleep, I get more breakouts than if I get enough sleep, so how exactly does a lack of sleep cause skin issues? When we don’t get enough sleep, If we don’t get enough sleep one night, our cortisol levels will be greater than they should be, and we’ve already discussed cortisol and how it causes inflammation and irritation. As a result, it is critical to get enough sleep. If you want to learn more about how to get better sleep tips, keep reading. If your air is dry today, use a humidifier; this advice does not apply to someone living in the tropics since the air is never dry, but it does apply to someone living in a place like Canada because the air is relatively dry half of the year, which may lead to skin that is irritated and dry. It is important to use a humidifier if you have any issues like eczema rosacea skin sensitivity. It’s a study that shows that using a humidifier reduces the appearance of wrinkles.

GUIDE FOR HEALTHY SCALP – HYDRATION, OILING, AND MORE

0

How do you take care of your hair? Shampooing, conditioning, and oiling on occasion? But, the scalp is often overlooked as a body part affected by dry skin, dandruff, and other scalp problems. If you want healthy, glossy, and strong hair, you need to go beyond shampoo and conditioner. This article will get to the bottom of the problem by describing how the scalp works. what causes an unhealthy scalp, and what treatments may help.

HOW DOES THE SCALP WORK?

The scalp is a continuation of the skin on our brow. It contains lipid and sweat glands, much like the rest of the body. The scalp’s outer layer is 0.02mm thick and serves to protect our heads from external irritants. Glands on the scalp help to keep the skin wet and seal it in. It has a two-week keratinization cycle in which dead cells peel off the scalp’s surface and new cells form.

WHAT CAUSES A HEALTHY SCALP TO BE UNHEALTHY?

Pollution, stress, poor eating habits, and other factors may all lead to an unhealthy scalp. Furthermore, since the scalp’s barrier function is compromised, more issues such as redness, dandruff, inflammation, scalp psoriasis, flaking, and itching develop more often.

When it comes to an unhealthy scalp, the most common culprits are the build-up surrounding the hair follicles. This build-up may result from a problem created by chemical products, including sulfates, parabens, and alcohol. Using shampoos, sprays, and conditioners containing these chemicals may harm the health of your scalp.

As a result, an unhealthy scalp causes breakage, dryness, and, in severe instances, hair loss. The trick is to treat your scalp and avoid using too many products on it. To achieve glossy tresses, many individuals wash their hair every day, which depletes the hair of its natural oils, causing dryness, irritation, and stifling growth. If you are experiencing hair loss, speak with an expert or see a dermatologist for professional hair loss therapy rather than attempting to cure it at home.

Here are some suggestions for keeping your scalp healthy:

TOP 4 ADVICE FOR A HEALTHY SCALP:

1.Drinking plenty of water

Hydration is the foundation of attractive skin, as well as glossy and healthy hair. Many individuals underestimate the significance of scalp hydration. Dehydration of the scalp, if ignored, may result in dull hair, blocked follicles, and a dry scalp.

To keep your scalp moisturized and nourished, try the following:

Drink enough water: For most individuals, dehydration is the root cause of hair and scalp problems. Drink at least eight glasses of water each day to moisturize your scalp and make your hair shine. Water also contains essential nutrients and minerals required for moisturizing hair follicles, which will help avoid breakage.

Moisturize the scalp: Another method to keep your scalp moisturized is to moisturize it. Aloe vera is believed to hydrate the scalp and relieve irritation caused by dry scalp. Choose a shampoo with components that help hydrate your scalp and hair, such as hyaluronic acid, argan, or tea tree oil.

Condition your scalp: According to several experts, you should only apply conditioner at the ends of your hair. But, using conditioner on the scalp regularly will keep your scalp and hair moisturized and rejuvenated. Conditioners including panthenol, olive oil, chamomile, vitamin E, and fruit oil may also help condition your scalp.

2.lubrication

This grandma’s age-old cure never goes out of style and helps treat many of our hair and scalp problems. There are vitamin E-rich oils that feed your scalp while also making hair strands shiny and healthy. Here are some oils to try:

Coconut oil: Coconut oil is regarded as an excellent scalp moisturizer, which means it is suitable for treating scalp dryness. Leave the heated coconut oil on your scalp and hair for approximately an hour. Then, using a gentle shampoo, wash it off. Make sure you don’t use abrasive shampoo or boiling water.

Essential oils: If your scalp generates a lot of sebum, you should avoid using the oil daily. But, there is enough evidence that using essential oils with antimicrobial characteristics, such as rosemary, lavender, and lemon oil, may stimulate your scalp. These oils spread their aroma throughout the scalp, removing the fungus and soothing inflammation.

Castor oil:- Castor oil is believed to enhance scalp health and prevent various scalp disorders, including dandruff and psoriasis. It also protects your tresses by aiding in the sealing of moisture. According to several studies, it stimulates hair follicles, reduces build-up, and alleviates pain so that your scalp can breathe freely.

3.Skin exfoliation

Skin exfoliation

Your scalp, like the rest of your skin, requires exfoliation. When this is not done, the scalp gets dry, leading to hair loss and dullness. Exfoliation eliminates dead skin cells from your scalp, making space for new hair growth. To get healthy and strong hair, you must work on the base of the hair. As a result, caring for the skin underneath your hair is critical.

The following are some methods for exfoliating the scalp:

Exfoliation pack: A combination of crushed brown sugar, almonds, and oats combined with jojoba oil may create an excellent exfoliation pack for a scrub.

Brush: An exfoliation brush may be a helpful tool throughout the procedure. Exfoliation may be accomplished by using the bristles on the scalp before oiling.

Cleanser: To combat build-up, dryness, and oily scalp, use a mild exfoliating cleanser once or twice a month.

4.Changes in Lifestyle

Healthy scalp

A few simple lifestyle adjustments may go a long way toward healing and maintaining the health of your scalp. Excessive hair loss, flaky scalp, and dryness are all signs that you need to take more care of your hair. If required, choose the most delicate hair growth therapy, which begins with a healthy scalp. Consume enough omega 3 and 6 fatty acids, promoting hair growth and keeping the scalp healthy from inside. Stress hormones boost sebum production, so try to decrease your stress levels. So, focus on things that make you joyful from the inside out. Avoid as much sun exposure as possible. UV radiation may wreak havoc on the scalp and trigger hair loss. Sunscreen spray, a headband, or a hat provide simple protection. Keep your scalp clean at all times since it promotes cell turnover and allows for the best hair development.

STOP BITING YOUR NAILS WITH THESE EASY TIPS

0

I’ll admit it: I’m one of those girls whose nails are a constant source of embarrassment. No, I don’t bite my nails, but I do enjoy picking and peeling off my nail polish – it’s always in bits and pieces, and I leave it that way for weeks.

And yes, I am aware of how unsightly it appears, how messy it makes me appear, how it ruins my every outfit, and how I make a bad impression.

I’m aware of it, but there’s nothing I can do about it – I keep peeling. So don’t waste your time shaming me in the comments – I already have many friends who constantly criticize me about it.

My only consolation is that I can quickly and easily get my nails in shape for special occasions. With a little nail polish remover and a fresh coat of nail polish, I have perfect nails that I can leave alone for at least one night.

But it got me thinking: what about those of you who bite your nails? Though your habit isn’t any worse than mine, you won’t be able to get your nails in shape as quickly.
Have you seen those nails, I mean? They are often unusually formed, badly damaged, and bitten to the skin, with little left to clip and shape.

Furthermore, the act itself is somewhat disturbing – frantic expression in the eyes, nervous twitching of the fingers, chewing, chewing, chewing.
Sudden important dates, meetings, parties, and celebrations must feel like a nightmare to you. So, here are seven tips to help you stop biting your nails and change your life for the better!

1.MOVE YOUR MIND TO THE GOAL

The first and most important step is to make a decision. It would help if you truly meant it, or else don’t bother.

Nobody says it will be easy. Quitting biting your nails is not as difficult as, say, quitting smoking, but it will need some willpower. There will always be an excuse to bite your nails once – you’ll have an important test, a job interview, or a cute guy will walk.
But, guess what? You are no longer a nail-biter! You may need to remind yourself of this from time to time, but you are not.

Some doctors say doing it gradually and in stages. Begin by deciding to stop biting your right hand’s nails, for example. It may reduce some of the stress that comes with quitting any bad habit.

2.BITING THE NAILS IS LESS APPEALING WHEN THEY ARE SHORT.

stop biting your nails

Many people agree that biting nails isn’t nearly as satisfying when there’s not much to bite. As a result, keep your nails as short as possible.

Carrying a nail clipper in your pocket may also be beneficial, especially if you bite your cuticles. You can clip any tiny piece of a split nail or cuticle without reverting to the habit of using your teeth.

3.GET A MANICURE YOU DON’T WANT TO RUIN.

My friend was able to stop biting her nails as a result of this. Just looking at how beautiful they were was enough to put a stop to her nibbling. You can find a plethora of beautiful nail design ideas online. Please choose your favourite and show it to your manicurist.
Choose something you adore and would be devastated if you ruined it. Or, you can create your personalized design. Consider the money you spent, which will be gone with the first bite. Whatever suits you.

4.BUY A NAIL POLISH THAT TASTES EXTREMELY BAD.

stop biting your nails

When their fingers begin to travel towards their lips, most individuals are indifferent. A gentle reminder, say, in the form of an awful, awful taste on your nails, might do the trick.
There are nail polishes specifically designed to help you stop biting your nails. These products are odourless, colourless, and totally harmless, yet they taste so bitter that you won’t bring your hand near your mouth. Mavala is the most popular bitter nail polish on Amazon right now. It has over 6000 reviews, a 4.3 average rating, and costs only $14.95. That seems to be a reasonable price for a device that may assist you in breaking a harmful habit.

5.KEEP YOUR MOUTH AND HANDS ENTERTAINED

Biting your nails is primarily a manifestation of inner anxiety, which causes you to want to do something – anything – to divert your attention away from the situation that is causing you to feel anxious.
So it doesn’t always have to be biting the nails. It’s just that it’s usually the only thing nearby, easily accessible, and doesn’t need any effort.
So, always have something to play with, something little that you can take about with you and grab for anytime your tongue travels to your fingers.
It could be gum, a lollipop, or sunflower seeds to keep your mouth busy, or a stress ball, worry stone, or spinner ring to keep your hands busy.
Don’t overthink it – grab the first thing that doesn’t need any of your attention (so you can use it while doing other things), and it will help you keep your anxiety under control.

6.REWARD AND PENALTY

It’s quite simple: When something good happens to you, you tend to repeat the actions that resulted in that happy feeling—likewise, vice versa.
Give yourself a small, nice, and simple reward every time you’ve been good and kept your teeth away from your nails. Perhaps a beautiful new nail polish. A tasty treat. Or take an hour away from your regular duties and tasks to do something simply for yourself.
If you catch yourself biting your nails, punish yourself by snapping your hand with a rubber band or putting a dollar in a nasty little nail-biter jar.

7.APPS CAN ASSIST YOU

Did you know there are apps designed to help you stop biting your nails? Yes, we live in a world where even this issue has a solution. So why not make use of it?
Most of these apps work by assisting you in tracking your progress, keeping a diary of your successes and failures, reminding you why you are doing this, suggesting alternatives to your habit, or creating a relaxing environment.
Why do it on your own if you’ve already decided to stop biting your nails? Make use of all available resources.

Skincare Mistake That Makes Your Acne Worse

0

Today we’re going to talk about the biggest skincare mistake that you might be making right now at this very moment. Those are either causing more acne or damaging your skin in generals. Before discussing specific skincare habits and skincare errors. The most fundamental thing I believe is that you do not trust your skin sufficiently. So you think that you need this sort of miracle fixed Today, we’re going to speak about the most common skincare errors that you may be doing right now. These are either creating more acne or causing overall skin damage.

Before delving into particular skincare habits and mistakes. The most basic issue, in my opinion, is that you do not trust your skin enough. So you believe you need this kind of miraculous cure from a topical skincare product. So you assault and then be aggressive to the skin, thinking that you need to do this to cure certain skin problems. Your skin is very clever. Your skin is also alive, a working organ that can heal and restore itself. Learn how to control cell turnover, close all dead skin cells, and manage sebum production as required. All your skin may require is simply basic Hydration and a comfy atmosphere for it to operate. Let’s get started on our skincare routines straight now.

The number one skincare mistake is cleansing oppressively and aggressively. And this includes washing your skin, bathing it several times a day, and using a more potent, more alkaline cleanser to remove everything on top of the skin. Some people believe that cleansing for 10-15 minutes will purify their skin. Of course, it is cleansing your skin, But at the same time, it is taking away all the essential components to moisturize your skin naturally. You are disrupting and damaging the skin barrier. The cleansers within the cleansers don’t know what to remove, the dirt, grind, sweat, and what to leave; thus, it removes everything. I have seen many beauty brands recommending to use their cleanser as more like 15 minutes purifying detoxifying mask. You are doing it at the expense of really damaging the skin barrier.

The second mistake in skincare: I made was physically abusing my skin with too many cotton pads, cleansing wipes, and maquila wipes and cleaning the towels to rub my skin aggressively. I was addicted to cotton pads because I know how instantly gratifying it feels to wipe away just makeup residues. was also addicted to using peeling pads like the COSRX one-step pimple pads. I used it so frequently that my skin barrier became severely damaged, and I developed mild contact dermatitis as a result. And it wasn’t because of any skincare formulas I use; it was because of the physical action of rubbing the cotton pads far too many times if you have to use cotton pads.

Instead of choosing one with embossing or exfoliating texture, opt for one with no texture at all, such as silky smooth. And when you’re using the cotton pad, make sure it is wholly drenched or drenched enough so that the dry surface doesn’t tear or scratch your skin and when you’re swiping it on your skin, Please be as gentle as possible. Do not apply any pressure to your hand’s fingers. Also, if possible, avoid towel drying your skin.

The third skincare mistake: Leaving cleansing water, wash your cleansing water on your skin or not after using a milder detergent or cleansing agent for purifying water agent than typical conventional foam cleansers, but it is still a surfactant. It still does dissolve the natural moisturizing factors and natural lipids you want to protect, and this is something that I learned from many dermatologists. They hate when you leave the cleansing water on your skin and use the cleansing water as a toner as a first step. After cleansing, gently rinse it away with lukewarm water.

The fourth skincare mistake is treating all areas of the skin equally. I’m not saying you need an eye cream or a particular product for your neck, forehead, or cheek. I’m just saying understand the physiological differences of different areas of your skin. For example, many people have an oilier t-zone. It’s a bit thicker. Here it’s a bit more resilient. The cheek area is where a lot of people get the most sunspots and hyperpigmentation. The eye area will be the thinnest and probably the most delicate and the most sensitive, and some people have rosacea on their cheeks. So that needs to be approached a little bit differently. For example, if you’re using a clay mask, Of course, the guide or how to use instruction would say apply this all over the skin, But you don’t need to listen to the brand.

You can tailor the teaching according to your skin needs, so I only apply to purify mask or drying ingredients on my t-zone because that’s more oily when moisturizing your skin. A perfect way to approach this is by controlling the moisturizer you use for different spots. I like to apply mainly on my cheek area, And whatever that remain for my hands or the fingers, I would apply that very gently or very slightly on the t-zone area.

If my cheeks are still dry, I’ll use the same moisturizer and apply another layer or a thicker layer on top. If my cheeks are still dry, I’ll apply another layer or a thicker layer of the same moisturizer on top. Especially when it comes to acne skin care products, too, I know many people use the acne skin care products a little bit mindlessly, Using it all over the skin, even to the areas where it doesn’t have acne. Understand and map out the differences in physiology on your skin. Do some spot treatment, and you’ll be fine.

The fifth skincare mistake is using a full range of active ingredients or an acne range. I know a lot of people follow the acne regime. Then they believe that they need to use every product in their skincare routine geared towards acne-prone skin, a facial wash for acne-prone skin and acne skincare toner, acne serum day cream, and night cream. I’m a firm believer that in your teenage years and up to your early 30s, Your baseline should always be Hydration and moisturization, and that is just creating the right environment for your skin to do its jobs. Then here and there, you can insert an active treatment like aha or BHA or a retinol product or vitamin product when your skin needs it.

Skincare Mistake Number Six: is simply shoving your skin and slathering it in a slew of different active ingredients that are stressing it out. Many of my palm farms do not, in my opinion, moisturize oily skin. I understand how easy it is to fall into the trap of believing that you must dry out your skin to balance it out. You guys know that is very far from the truth. Many of you guys have oily but dehydrated skin, and once you start genuinely hydrating and nourishing and moisturizing your skin, you found out that your skin is back in balance.

By hydrating and moisturising your skin, no longer produces greasy, gloopy sebum. You’re giving that cushiony and soothing environment for your skin to thrive. Don’t just up-wear products or product range that says it is for oily skin. Those can be pretty good, but also, a lot of the conventional products seem to be drying. You can constantly offer a lightweight, refreshing gel moisturizer to start if you are still scared of applying a moisturizer. That, I believe, is an excellent starting point.

Skincare mistake number seven uses way too many acne treatments, acne medications, and acne skin care products every day. It is undeniable that salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide can work, and they will deliver results overnight. Now I prefer to give my skin a little more time to function, repair, and recover rather than rely on acne medication to zap away the zit.

Skincare mistake number eight is using far more products than your skin requires. The critical point here is identifying what your skin craves and when your skin needs it. I’m not here to preach about a specific minimalistic approach to skincare routine as long as you know Each product and the skincare routine you selected to serve a purpose or serve a particular function based on your skin craving. It makes no difference how many steps you take.

Still, it becomes a little problematic to apply skincare products mindlessly and carelessly, drowning your skin and not giving yourself enough time to read your skin and identify what your skin needs, so more is never better. At the same time, there is a limit to how much your skin can absorb. So from the third layer or the fourth layer, it might only just stay on top of the skin. You aren’t getting the most out of the skincare product you purchased.

Skincare mistake number nine: starting anti-ageing skincare products way too young Anti-aging active ingredients such as Retinol and vitamin C and such do deliver results by pushing your skin cells to do a sure thing. So, in a way, they act as a personal trainer for your skin cells. As a result, your skin undergoes some stress, and this process may be beneficial for someone with ageing or mature skin. Causing unnecessary stress to the skin can lead to premature ageing or more information, so be aware of it, especially if you’re still in your teens and 20s. The best thing you can do for your skin to preserve your bounce, youth, and glow is to keep it hydrated, moisturized, and to apply sunscreen daily. That itself will protect your skin from inviting signs of ageing and, of course, stay away from inflammation-causing foods because that is a huge part.

Last but not least, this it’s not a skincare mistake, But it’s like one habit or one switch that upped and unenhanced my skincare game and my hair game and my sleep game. Switching my cotton pillowcase to a silk pillowcase is the best investment that I made for my well-being. But I do get fewer breakouts from my pillowcases.

Do you know those tiny pimples that appear out of nowhere when you wake up?

Pillowcases are much more hygienic, and it also regulates your temperature better, so it doesn’t heat your skin, and heat accelerates ageing. Cotton pillowcases are generally more absorbent, so they hold on to all the sweat and moisturizing hydrating layers you apply to your skin before bed. I don’t wake up with those annoying crease marks and the pillow lines and stuff of my skin, which is fantastic. I hope this was informative and helpful. If it was, please give it a thumbs up and also share this video with one friend who’s making these kinds of mistakes. I wish everyone can respect their skin and love their skin a little more because it deserves to be loved and cared for and respected. So give your skin more credit, and it’ll reward you with so much more.
